The Spring Sprint is family friendly 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk, that supports Assumption Academy Preschool and Kindergarten at Our Lady of the Assumption in Strafford. Our event offers more than just your average race, with music, face painting, and many other fun activities.
The goal of this race is to bring the community together while setting a healthy example for our students.
All funds raised go towards the academic advancement of our programs, and capital improvements of our facility. The inaugural race helped finance the installation of a new state of the art security system.
Whether you're looking for a family activity, or you're going for a PR, this familiar, fun course is a great way to spend your Sunday morning and help support and excellent cause.
This year's race will include:
- Pre race yoga by Ivivva
- Great prizes, top finishers will receive a gift card from Valley Forge Running Company
- Face painting by Party Rocket
- Live music by Bach to Rock
- An instrument petting zoo by Bach to Rock
- Silent Auction, featuring items like tennis and basketball camps
- Babysitting for 5K participants during the race
